The Sustainable Business Network of Washington (SB NOW) -- formerly the Washington D.C. Sustainable Business Network (DCSBN) -- is a community of business owners, non-profit leaders, professionals, and government representatives dedicated to building a more socially, environmentally, and financially sustainable local economy. Our common goal is to help make the Washington D.C. metro region a more sustainable place to live and work now and in the future – fully realizing its potential as a world-class capital city.

 

SB NOW is organized and operated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. The Network exists to help empower consumers and businesses, working in partnership with communities, to embrace a corporate citizenship / corporate social responsibility (CSR) business model informed by the concept of the triple bottom line. We offer targeted services such as our recently developed Green Business Certification based on our Essential Guide to Greening Your Business© and provide practical programs that address the unique needs and leverage the singular aspects and resources of the National Capital region to create measurable business and social value in the Washington, DC metro region.
